What started as a quarantine hobby, allowed me to gain the skills and the keen eye for building extremely detailed 12th-scale miniature replicas of some of my favorite settings (fiction and real). After spending months working with various materials, mostly upcycled, I was able to create these miniature models that surprisingly brought me a large social media following. Only one video of Monica’s apartment miniature from Friends brought me 2000 followers on Tik Tok who were also interested in purchasing my model. By learning more about the Tik Tok algorithm and current social media trends this following increased to over 3300 followers and gave me the opportunity to create a community of people with similar interests in case I decide to prioritize my miniature making content once again.
