Reverse Isekai'd

Photography

As part of the UCLA’s Film and Photography Society, I participated in the photography project of “Reverse Isekai’d” where I got to capture models at UCLA’s Broad Art Center.

Considering the theme of this project, I used a normal lens to make the setting the subject of the photos. With this approach, the contrast between the aesthetics of the characters and their environment (their maximalist fantastical wardrobe versus the minimal geometry of the setting, the contrast of the colors, etc.) will depict their isolation in the unfamiliar world.
