After joining the UCLA Film and Photography Society, I was given the opportunity to assist the production designer on one of the short film projects called “The Cure to Loneliness;” however, due to covid impacting student availability, I had to take on the role of Production Designer only a few days prior to production with an extremely small budget and the preexisting stress of the midterm week. Nevertheless, with the collaboration of the crew, I was able to not only tackle these limitations but also use this opportunity as the starting point of my experience in Production Design. The same skills and resources helped me to later assist the Production Designer of a feature film and short student films.
